This was our first time staying here and it was wonderful. It's very close to everything... but you feel like you're tucked away in the country. Full breakfast, desserts every evening at 6:30pm. Exceptional staff, lots of places to... explore. Family atmosphere. Clean. Very close to Dollywood and Splash Country. There is a riding stable at the end of the road. Out in the country but not too far to go into Pigeon Forge for eating or shopping. Each room has their own bathroom so no sharing. It was very quiet and peaceful. We would sit on the porch each evening and eat our dessert. Tea, water and soda complimentary.read more

We stayed in one of private cottages and it was perfect down to the details. Heated vent... when you get out of the shower, big jacuzzi tub, breakfast delivered to our cottage and everything you would want in a cottage. The staff are very friendly and both the cottage we stayed in and the bed and breakfast itself were very clean. We loved it here for the beautiful views, seclusion and close enough to all of the main attractions. We will definitely be coming back again. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!read more

Blue Mountain Mist is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we have ever stayed at. The... breakfasts were incredible and the temptation station treats were amazing! The staff was very friendly and made you feel like you were at home. The location is great as well. Far enough away to make it quiet and peaceful, but close enough that you didn't have to travel far to get to the main parkway. This is my favorite place to stay in Pigeon Forge! The rooms are immaculate, great... service, and some of the softest best beds. Their breakfast also can't be beat! The fruit dip is one of my favorite items! Some of my friends say that it's their favorite part of the trip! The most perfect place in America to stay for rest in a peaceful atmosphere.Basically... it's a very large country home built for the purpose of honoring Jesus for the blessings passed down from owners family and now the third and fourth generation is serving the guest with the love of God.The food is delightful, you can't hardly wait for morning to see what the breakfast will be. My favorite is the large perfect fluffy biscuits and gravy. This family offers a large price reduction for Pastors and they started doing this while back out of faith when economy was not good to make it available to those who serve. This has been a great blessings to my wife during those times and now you can see the fruit from their gifts.Many blessings on this family dear Father God in Jesus Name.read more

This was, by far, the BEST experience my husband and I have ever had on a trip.... Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for one evening and we so wished we could have stay longer. Our cottage was exceptionally cleaned and so cozy. We had dinner there and would highly recommend it. Everything was literally cooked to perfection. We had breakfast delivered to our cottage which was so delicious and more than enough food. The lady who delivered was so cheery! The property is beautiful and my husband and I enjoyed exploring. I especially loved Pepper, the cat, who came to our back porch for all the pets! We booked our next stay for my daughter and I at checkout and I am so excited to be returning next month to visit again.read more

We have been to many b&b s across the country and around the world. I mean no offense to... the other b& b s which were wonderful in their own right, but the Blue Mountain Mist is the best we have ever been to. The very pleasant staff, warm Christian atmosphere, DELICIOUS breakfasts- a unique offering on each of the 8 days we stayed there, the scenic setting in the mountains, the classy yet country dining area, the enjoyable walking trail, the closeness to other area facilities, and more combine to make this the BEST of stays. We stayed in the Trillium. We were there just for the evening and it was nice. Everyone... we spoke with was very nice including guests and staff. My only complaint would be the size of the toilet. It was super small. I’m 6’3” and about 240 pounds so it wasn’t the easiest to use. The carpet could use a little updating but it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and the porch on the back. Very quiet and overall, a nice place to visit. The breakfast was good, it wasn’t absolutely incredible, like the reviews I have read but it was good. I was surprised at how much you didn’t get. BUT, it was very good.read more

My wife and I found this bed and breakfast online after doing a search of local spots to... stay in pigeon Forge. The inside of the property from a decorations standpoint seems a little dated but the warmth and friendliness of the staff along with the serene property and incredible breakfast made this one of our favorite parts of our visit to the Smokies. The breakfast is made with genuine care for the guests and It is clear that these people love the people that are choosing to stay there. It feels like you are in their home and they are there to help you have a peaceful and relaxing trip. The front porch is incredible in the morning sun with a warm cup of coffee and then a relaxing stroll on their prayer trail around the 60-70 acres. I can’t recommend the property highly enough. Such a wonderful get away! The property and gardens were nice. We stayed in the cabin... Lady Slipper, nice and quaint with modern amenities. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. We loved the ability to pre-order dinners and enjoy in our cabin. Plentiful and delicious. There was always hot coffee or cold tea with sweet treats to satisfy a snack craving. Thank you Eric for your outstanding service at check in and ideas on best hikes things to do to. Also for preparing our bountiful dinners. Excellent bed & breakfast. This is one of the few places that I have slept at in recent... memory that when I woke up I felt good. Most places seem to have switched the mattresses to super extreme firm so you feel like you are on a rock. This isn't the case here. Soft beds, clean fresh smelling linens and a welcoming staff make this a great experience. It is not to far from the main drive in Pigeon forge so all the restaurants and activities that you may want are only about 15 min away. The breakfast was fresh hot and definitely cooked with love. We were blessed to be able to stay for a week at this lovely inn. They were practicing... social distancing:So no cleaning of rooms/cottage-we did ask midweek for fresh towels which they gladly and quickly took care of...Meals were served in the dining room- we had a party of 6 and we were seated together- but distance was adequate between other tables. The food was absolutely delicious!!!We met several other couples and enjoyed chatting and getting acquainted with them and yet keeping distance...either on the porch or in the parlor.The owners are amazing, as well as, the staff!!! Incredibly friendly service, an amazing breakfast, and very nice accommodations. Unlike... other B&Bs, there are plenty of breakfast tables so you don't have to sit with strangers. Old-fashioned decor is well coordinated. Room had a large jetted tub. Grounds are not huge but secluded and beautifully maintained, and the porch has plenty of rocking chairs with a scenic view. My wife had a great experience getting her nails done at the spa. Less than 15 min from shopping, restaurants and attractions at Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Highly recommended.read more

I rarely give 5 stars, but Blue Mountains deserves it for sure. This was our first time... at a bed and breakfast, so naturally I was skeptical. The owner met us with a smile and gave us a personal tour. It is easy to see how proud he is of his B&B. It is also evident that Christ dwells with him & his wife. The location is perfectly close to everything, but far out enough that it is only country air you are breathing. We had a great time and will definitely be going back.read more

My wife and I came for our anniversary, and we could not have had a more wonderful time! ... The inn was lovely, the rooms very comfortable, and the grounds are gorgeous. You are close enough to the park and activities that it is convenient, yet you are far enough away to feel completely at peace. In the evening we fell asleep on the porch more than once listening to the frogs and the water fountain, and not a single sound of a car or other disruptions!More than all the rest though was the hospitality and graciousness of our hosts! We met most of the family, but spent most of our time visiting with Colette, and she could not be a kind and welcoming hostess.During all of our extensive travels, we always make a point of staying in bed and breakfasts or inns, so that we can meet the owners and guests. Our stay at the Blue Mountain Mist was exactly the reason we do this, as our time in the inn and with Colette and the family are memories that will last a lifetime! We discovered Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn while taking our son to law school in... Virginia. It is a peaceful retreat where you can rest and avoid the tourist crowd by going to nearby Sevierville for shopping and meals. If you prefer the tourist opportunities Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are close by as well. We highly recommend this wonderful Inn, with its gracious staff, to Pastors that need the opportunity to get away with family and recharge their batteries. There is a board/game room downstairs at the main building that would be perfect for deacon retreats. We try to visit the Inn a couple times a year if possible.read more

My wife and I came to Blue Mountain Mist to get away from city life in Chicago and the... Inn did not disappoint! The Inn is really comfortable and homey with beautiful views of the smoky mountains from the large farmers porch. At least every day included some time admiring the view and taking in the beauty. There is an amazing full country breakfast every morning that is delicious and bountiful. One night, we ordered a dinner prepared by the chef at the In and it did not disappoint with some of the most tender beef that I have ever eaten. The room was not huge but was up to date and extremely clean. We even had a little porch off of the room to admire more of the view. If the room was a little small, the common areas were spacious with a little something for everyone from a number of sitting rooms to a large indoor garden area downstairs. The Inn is family owned and operated and you can feel the warmth in every detail of the Inn. The Inn is great for a quiet, romantic getaway or just good quality family time. You are away from the crazy tourism of the area but can get to the hot spots or beauty of the Smoky Mountains in minutes!read more

The Honeysuckle suite at Blue Mountain Mist is the perfect honeymoon spot OR family... vacation! They respect social distancing during this time by delivering breakfast in bed to your own private cottage- which by the way is amazing! A local trampoline park, skybridge and several coasters are open and nearby the cottage (with precautions in place of course). Honestly, the most perfect place to vacation during a pandemic! This was the most relaxing 4 days that we have had in a very long time. We made... reservations here without knowing anything about the place or knowing anyone that had stayed here. It looked cozy from the pictures and it was in the area we wanted to go to, so we took a chance. This little country inn is wonderful! The staff is more like people that you knew that you didn't know that you knew, if that even makes sense. The food is spectacular! We had supper there one night and the food just melted in our mouths. The nightly desserts were scrumptious and there was always fresh coffee and drinks anytime of the day or night. The folks that we met at breakfast were the kind that you wanted to keep on knowing. Our cabin was perfect and all the little extras that we got for celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary made it that much more special. We got a couples massage from the Spa and it was very relaxing. We truly hated to leave! We have decided to make this at least an annual trip! My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Blue Mountain Mist.Initially, we... just wanted a pleasant place to stay while we did the typical tourist stuff around Gatlinburg.However, we were greeted by a warm, cozy and comfortable home with years of memories and family history. The property was beautiful, with equally stunning vistas outside. The staff was friendly and genuine, as were the inn's cat and dog, who welcomed us as soon as we arrived!We expected something of a continental-style breakfast, as the last B&B we stayed in didn't offer too much in that regard. But, were we wrong here! The breakfasts served at Blue Mountain Mist are fantastic! Truly. The bell rings at 9am, and you sit down with other guests at several dining tables, fully decked out, and are treated to a multi-course meal, including some of the tastiest fruit topping we've ever eaten. I'm not sure I can remember enjoying breakfast as much in years.This does not mention the always available coffee bar and the temptation station!Another thing that stood out to me was the smell. The smell? Yes. Pleasant, unassuming and subtle - it reminded me of my grandparents' house and it brought back so many memories. It was something I never thought I'd get to experience again ... and I'm grateful.In short, we hope to come back to Blue Mountain Mist, where I think we'll skip all the tourist nonsense and simply enjoy our time at the inn.Thank you for making our anniversary truly memorable.-Aaron & Mary H.read more

We fell in love❣️It was so beautiful and relaxing like home away from home... without all the to do list. The people we met there are like friends and family now. The owners and those that served us are so kind and caring. The spa was amazing the breakfast was so yummy and filling. Nothing but good feels all over. In a prefect location to the local Attractions but tuck up off road in between to mountains to give amazing views. Will definitely return every time we go to that part of Tennessee ❤️read more

Highly recommended! Great place to celebrate a special event! With the mountain backdrop... and the cozy atmosphere, I couldn’t see myself staying anywhere else. The morning breakfast offers a chance to socialize and converse with nice and interesting folks and the evening deserts are so good, you can’t eat just one small portion! Expect to gain a pound or two! We spent our 50th Wedding Anniversary 2019 at the Blue Mountain Mist B & B. The Staff... made our Anniversary very special. Management seemed to appreciate every guest they had and did their best to make sure your stay was and enjoyable one. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked for 2020. Looking forward already to a return trip and our get-a-way in the mountains of the Great Smoky Mountains. Food was especially delicious and appreciated the pray at breakfast. If you are looking for a relaxing place to get away from it all this is the place. You won’t be disappointed.read more

My husband and I loved this place. It's quiet and feels secluded, but its near all the... local attractions. It is beautiful, and we had a wonderful sunrise view over the mountains. The breakfasts are good, as well. We left feeling peaceful and renewed. What more can you ask?read more
