No expense is spared in creating the perfect seasonal atmosphere, it is our favorite holiday after all! Not only will you get to experience the wonder of Christmas on our property and in each of our guest rooms, but you can also enjoy everything the area has to offer as well.

Things to do in Sevierville

The first thing you should do when coming to Sevierville for Christmas is to view the holiday lights along the Parkway. There are more than 15 million lights along this drive. There are also Christmas lights at Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland, located at the Tennessee Smokies baseball stadium.

The Sevierville Courthouse hosts a Christmas tree lighting with food, drinks, and activities for the kids.

Christmas is a great time to sample some moonshine! whether it is moonshine or wine there are lots of places you can pop in for free moonshine tastings or take a moonshine tasting tour.

Knoxville’s Market Square has lots of dining options from fancy to casual. You can call ahead and make reservations which are not something you can always do here in Sevierville.

If you are not finished with your holiday shopping stop by TangerOutlets in Sevierville. With right at 100 stores and restaurants, you will not be disappointed. Grab a coffee and get shopping!

If you are looking for a more personal gift or something hand made the Arts and Crafts community is the place to go. These shops are located on an 8-mile loop and offer everything from quilting supplies, pottery, leatherwork, to paintings and photography.

The Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge boasts that it is the South’s largest Christmas store.

Knoxville also has plenty of shopping options. Market Square is a great stop for cute shops.

Outdoor Christmas Fun

If you want to enjoy some outdoor fun Ober Gatlinburg is worth a visit. You can drive up and park or take the Arial Tramway from Downtown Gatlinburg. They have snow tubing, skiing, and year-round indoor ice-skating.

Anakeesta is another outdoor option. They offer an Enchanted Winter Celebration. This includes festive lights and food after a ride up the mountain on their ski lift. They have great views overlooking Gatlinburg.

Dollywood is also a great choice for outdoor fun, just be sure to bundle up!

Market Square, in Knoxville, has open-air ice-skating the whole month of December.

There is also a Christmas parade through the center of downtown Gatlinburg. Bring a bag chair and get ready for a colorful parade full of music and Christmas cheer.

Other Christmas Entertainment

Another stop on your Christmas list should be the Titanic Museum. Be transported back to 1912 and experience the historic event of the sinking of the Titanic. The museum prides itself on its historical accuracy and Christmas décor.
