Ramsey Cascades Room

This room accommodates up to three, having a Plush Brother’s Bedding™ queen, as well as, a twin bed, perfect for “girlfriends getaways” or a family of three. The delicate Victorian-styled iron bed along with the soft pinks and greens of the room make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a beautiful flower garden. This room is very dainty and definitely very feminine in decor. Ramsey Cascades has a comfortable large bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Relax on the bed and watch your favorite TV show in the comfort of your room or connect to the in-room WiFi.

This room is named after one of the beautiful waterfalls in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Ramsey Cascades is the tallest waterfall in the park and one of the most astounding. Water drops one hundred feet over rock outcroppings and collects in a small pool where numerous  salamanders can be found. The eight mile round trip hike is considered strenuous and rather difficult.  It follows rushing rivers and streams for much of its length. Toward the end of the trail you must slow down and climb quite a few boulders to make it to the cascades, but it is well worth the hike. The last two miles pass through old-growth cove hardwood forest with large tulip-trees, basswoods, silver-bells, and yellow birches.
