Evening Innkeeper/ Front Desk

Job Description

Evening Innkeeper needed – 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm 2-3 days a week. The ideal candidate must:

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Enjoy people
  • Be extremely dependable and honest
  • Have meticulous cleaning skills
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Work within a smoke-free environment
  • Be a team player
  • Know how to bake
  • Know the area well
  • Be able to lift dish trays in/out of sanitizer

Duties will include but are not limited to taking reservations, greeting/checking in guests, making evening desserts, washing dishes, dining room set-up, and doing some laundry. Experience is highly desired, but we are willing to train the right individual who has a desire to learn the business.

Job Description

Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Spa currently has housekeeping positions open. 2-5 days a week with hours of 8 am-4 pm, full-time position and also a part-time position open. We offer a Christian environment, positive, caring, fun, team-oriented, yet serious and smoke-free atmosphere to work in. Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to being on time for your scheduled shift, cleaning guest rooms and cottages, keeping laundry going and housekeeping closets stocked, being courteous to guests, and communicating maintenance issues to management.

To clean and service guest rooms and provide clean linens and towels, as needed, in a timely and organized manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Greet and welcome all guests to make them feel welcome and comfortable.

  • Clean and service guest rooms and cottages according to Blue Mountain Mist procedures and standards.
  • Notify the Supervisor when the service is complete.
  • Report needed repairs and unsafe conditions.
  • Keep linen closets and housekeeping van neat, clean, and stocked.
  • Maintain security of equipment, keys, and supplies.
  • Respond to housekeeping requests from guests and management in an efficient manner.

Job Description

Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Spa currently has a part-time evening server position open. We offer a Christian environment, positive, caring, fun, team-oriented, yet serious and smoke-free atmosphere to work in.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: being on time for your scheduled shift, helping the chef prepare for dinner, table set-up, serving guests dinner, and kitchen clean-up.

This job is great for ages 15 and up!

Starting pay $7.25 plus tips

Job Description

Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Spa is looking for a full-time experienced maintenance person. 5 days a week, with hours of 9 am-5 pm most days. Plus on call in case of emergencies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to all guest’s requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Complete work order requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition
  • Inspect public areas daily for any issues
  • After-hours on-call availability if an issue arises, available some weekends
  • Providing maintenance repairs to guest-rooms, public areas, and administrative offices
  • Repairs may include plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door, and window repairs
  • Maintain room preventative maintenance and consistently keep updated records on file.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to be on call nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.
  • Hotel maintenance technicians should be able to exhibit mastery of a minimum of three of the trade skills like electronic systems and controls, mechanical, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and general building management.
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must.

Wonderful, peaceful accommodation. Very comfortable bed We've thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Lovely, thoughtful staff, delicious breakfasts, beautiful grounds to wander through, wonderful views especially from the delightful porch with comfortable seating. Lovely homemade deserts from 6pm and various beverages available throughout the day. Easy drive to the Great Smoky Mountains and to Gatlingburg, Pigeon Forge and attractions. So glad we chose Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn. Thank you all and God bless you.

You come to a crossroad when you can do same ole same ole or do something different. My wife and I tried something different and it was great,we was treated like family and not just a visitor we were served this best breakfast in Tennessee and met people who was patrons treating us like family Thanks for the memories.
