One of our favorite week-long events has been happening in Pigeon Forge for over two decades, it’s open to the public and completely free! Wilderness Wildlife Week is made up of exhibits, performances, workshops, classes, walks and talks that are both informative and entertaining. Programs celebrate features, creatures and cultures of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the surrounding region. Wilderness Wildlife Week offers activities for all ages and brings thousands of nature lovers to Pigeon Forge each year and this year’s event schedule looks very exciting! There are many interesting events listed, it’s going to be hard to choose which to attend!
Whether you like to listen to different musical presentations of old-time mountain instruments, hear story-telling, take informative classes on your choice of crafts, favorite hobby, learn more about hiking and trails, or let kids enjoy themselves through the KIDS’ TRACK! Wilderness Wildlife week event schedule features something for everyone! Programs start each day around 8:00 AM and run until 7:30 PM.  The only non-enjoyable thing of Wilderness Wildlife Week? It’s impossible to see every program because there are so many wonderful selections to choose from!
